Nantucket Sweater

Hi all, I thought I would introduce myself and my red sweater. I'm Schrodinger and I currently knitting the Nantucket Jacket from this Winters Interweave Knits. This (along with DH's, boring, black zipped raglan) is my first sweater, and I'm loving the pattern. It's just interesting enough to keep me on my toes, but the pattern is pretty memorizable (is that even a word?).

What you see here is the (unblocked) back and the beginning of the right front. I've made it a little longer in the body, and currently debating how much longer I want to make the sleeves.

That is just so beautiful, it is also on my list of must knits...are you using the yarn called for or?
Beautiful knitting!
(plus I want to figure how to knit it (the body) in one piece....)

I can't believe this is your first (one of your first) sweater! What else do you knit? I just got this IK as well, and love this sweater. Of course I'd have to figure out how to knit it in the round. Just can't do that "seaming" thing!

I love your sweater! I have the pattern for this sweater, but I don't know what yarn would be best for it. What did you use? It looks great!
