So here's my dilemma...
As I mentioned earlier I am debating with myself regarding my pattern for the Red Sweater KAL. I had initially thought of doing a wide ribbed pattern pullover but now I can't decide between the sweater I've pictured here or Ivy from Knitty.com.
I guess it will have to depend on whether or not I have enough yarn in my stash. I would definately have to make the ribbed sweater longer... after three kids there's just way too many stretch marks for me to wear anything that could potentially show off my belly! Eeek! It doesn't even bear thinking of! Tee hee! You'll have to excuse the quality of the picture. The lighting wasn't the greatest!

I see what you mean about that ribbed sweater. It's beautiful, but too short. I haven't had three kids, but neither am I twenty any longer! LOL I'd have to make it longer, too. ;-)
I agree the ribbed sweater would be better longer. All those vertical stripes in a longer shape could be quite slimming. That said, Ivy is lovely. Are cross over sweaters a flattering shape on you? (They don't work for everybody.) If you've had success with cross overs before, then I vote for Ivy.
Oh gosh, I love that Ivy wrapover too, but I second Jean's warning about wraps not suiting everybody. Every time I see one I try it on, and every time I try it on I remember why I don't have one! Pity. Used to love ballet cardigans in youth...
