What to do, what to do?

I have been lurking and enjoying a shot of red periodically, but so far haven't knit anything red.

But I am getting close to wrapping up my big Christmas projects and am feeling a red itch. Digging into my stash, I have some Karoke in Wild Cherry that I am thinking about - do y'all think it's red enough for a Red Sweater KAL? or too pink? http://www.soysilk.com/karaoke_pics/280%20Wild%20Cherry_thumb.jpg

And I was thinking either Bristow from knitty http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTbristow.html or the Shoal Water sweater from Needle Beetle http://www.needlebeetle.com/texture/sw.htm

Opinions are welcome!

First let me say that I love, love, love the colour of your yarn! I am "casting" my vote for Bristow! But the other pattern is lovely too. Which ever you choose is going to be gorgeous!

My sentiments exactly. Love that yarn. The Shoal Waters pattern is nice, lovely even, but I fell in love with Bristow when I first saw it. Bristow gets my vote. ;-)
