Now here is where the change of plans comes into the picture. This little Shape It Scarf from Sally Melville Knit 1 book is being knit with the beautiful rich viscose that Jo sent to me. I tried the pattern I was going to knit and it just was not working. It is just a bit too drapey and even when I combined it with a strand of fingering weight yarn it just was not working. I do not want to put any amount of hours into something that I can tell from the outset is just full of problems.
What to do? When all else fails, set off to your LYS and see what possibilities you can find to make a wonderful Red Sweater!

A knit vest is a sweater. It's a sleeveless sweater. And yours is gorgeous!
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the other yarn. :-)
Your vest looks lovely!
