It's finished :-)

...well here it is, my finished red sweater :-)
According to my yarn stash, this could be the first of many!!
I really liked knitting this, using Elizabeth Zimmermann's percentage system (EPS). It's the first thing I've made using her system, and I'm really happy with how it turned out :-)
I did have to undo some of the body. I thought it needed some waist shaping, and I'm really glad that I did, coz it feels, and looks, heaps better now. The edging was just finished off with some crocheted chains anchored to the body with a slip stitch...the edges are curling a bit, but I was more eager to take a photo of it, than I was to block it.....Love the knitting, don't love the finishing!
There's a closer neckline piccy on my blog
Happy knitting! Linda

Thanks for the link to Elizabeth's ESP. I'm still trying to decide what pattern to make and this looks like another possibility. I really like the simple lines with your embellished crochet edging.
