I just joined this KAL and I am so looking forward to it!
Do you mind if I spin and dye my own yarn for this? I am thinking of a merino, angora bunny and cahmere mix Aran yarn, dyed in a rich garnet red.

Of course you may spin and dye your own yarn for this! Heavens. I wish I knew how. :-) The only yarn requirement for this KAL is that the yarn is red. Doesn't matter who dyed it. ;-)
I will watch closely for your handspun and dyed yarn. You are away ahead of me, as I do not have any red yarn yet!
Can you post a photo of your fiber, before you spin? It would be wonderful to watch the process...
